Bali out of Instagram: where to stay a month without continuous traffic?

I am looking for a base for a month with yoga, sea reachable and local life, but I do not want to spend hours on scooter between Canggu and Seminyak. I will only work a few mornings and the rest of the time I would like to explore on foot or with occasional driver. Sanur seems practical, Amed more quiet and Ubud interesting but far from the sea.
