Journey Buddies is an independent international community created to help people with compatible dates, budgets, and interests meet and organize trips together.
What we do
We provide traveler profiles, trip listings, preference-based search, and private messaging. We show where content comes from, the available trust signals, and approved reviews without presenting them as personal guarantees.
Responsibilities and limitations
Journey Buddies is not a travel agency, does not sell travel packages, and cannot verify every detail published by members. Before making arrangements or departing, every traveler should check identities, itineraries, costs, documents, insurance, and local safety conditions.
Moderation and safety
Profiles, trips, stories, and reviews may be moderated. Blocking and reporting tools are available throughout the community. Critical reports are targeted for review within 4 hours and other reports within 24 hours. Visit the Safety Center and read our Community Guidelines.
Who runs the project
The site operator is responsible for technical operations, editorial work, and moderation. Journey Buddies is continually evolving, with features and processes improved through testing, member feedback, and consent-based aggregate data.
