Editorial method and guide update
As we select, we check and update guides and stories published on Journey Buddies.
Journey Buddies guides are intended to help real people prepare meetings and shared trips. They are not published to cover any keywords and do not replace official sources, professionals or authorities.
Who produces content
The editorial content is attributed to the editorial staff or an identifiable author. The community’s stories maintain a distinct origin. When a text describes direct experience, this is only declared if documented; in other cases we show the editorial reviewer.
How we review
- We verify that the question is useful for those traveling alone or with new people.
- We control clarity, completeness, risks and possible dangerous interpretations.
- We connect institutional sources when it concerns documents, health, safety, rights or transport.
- We indicate a review date and update the text when changing procedures or services.
- We only link the guide to website functions when they help you to make the next step.
Sources and limits
We prefer Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, ENAC, health authorities and public guarantees. Personal experiences are used to explain situations, not to transform a single case into a rule. Approved reviews and aggregated platform data remain distinct from editorial opinions.
Use of automation
Automatic tools can assist structure, formal control and maintenance of connections. The publication and statements of experience require human review. We do not attribute to an author experiences that he did not document.
Corrections
If you find an error, a source no longer valid or an ambiguous formulation, write to hello@journey-buddies.com indicating URL and passage. Substantial corrections update the date of review.
